DESCRIPTION
The Underwater Level (UL) is a portable measuring system capable of quickly and accurately measure the level of any submerged surface or multiple surfaces. It is easy to operate and does not require line of sight. It consists of up to 12 measuring units, reference/expansion unit, and vinyl tubing,
The operating principle of the Underwater Precision Water Level is based on the fact that gravity causes a body of water to seek a level that matches the curvature of the earth. This applies to a single surface of water or several interconnected surfaces
(such as the water cups of the UL).
Although water leveling has been known for centuries, we refined the equipment and procedures necessary to achieve the stated accuracy in underwater level measurement.
APPLICATIONS
Use the UL to measure the level or flatness of a submerged horizontal surface or the relative level of multiple surfaces or machine components. Examples include measuring the level of large machinery either in setup or as a maintenance procedure or the level of foundations when precision is needed. The water cups can remain in place while surfaces are adjusted, ideal for long term DSM - Differential Settlement monitoring, allowing for faster measurements, saving significant time over other measuring methods.
EASE OF USE
The UL requires only minutes of training to achieve highly accurate measurements. Setup is easy and quick, with mechanical and magnetic stands, quick connections, and short settling time.
Underwater Level (UL) is made in 3 basic configurations

UL 1 - Diver operated single point model (general purpose measurements)
UL 2 - Diver operated multi-point model (precision and DSM measurement)
UL 3 - Remotely operated multi-point model (precision and DSM measurement)
